MACON-LUGNY SAINT-PIERRE 2013 AC Macon Lugny
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer BOUCHARD PERE & FILS
Medium straw colour. Very bright nose with hints of ocean sea spray, faintly honeyed, ripe lemon notes along with a touch of minerality. Very dry, medium-light bodied, bright, zesty, ripe lemon-melon flavours with some nutty, mineral-tinged notes on the lingering, unoaked finish. This 2013 edition is fresh, lively and very tasty - reflecting the traditional, cool climate, old world style. The Chardonnay comes from the most southerly region of Burgundy and on one hand, is reminiscent of Chablis and, on the other, Pouilly Fuisse. CSPC 51573
