| In 1980, Costa Campos purchased the bankrupt Justino Henriques. At the time he knew little about wine, but he soon became a passionate advocate, turning the property around and placing himself amongst Madeira’s finest producers. In 1995, Martinez Cash company took a share in the business and now are the major shareholder. Campos is still very actively involved in helping this fine house, and the Madeira industry itself, to regain its former glory. In this non-dated Madeira you will find a rich, ripe and very fruity dessert wine ideal for the nut bowl or aged/blue-veined cheeses. |
