Bright medium-light golden amber colour. Fairly intense, ripe plum and caramel nose with some peppery-apple notes. Spicy, cinnamon-tinged, slightly peppery, lemony-ripe plum and caramel flavours with a fairly harmonious, lingering finish. TASTING NOTE: Nose: Intense and sharp. Slightly spirity. Leafy. Fern. Cherry trifle. White pepper. Palate: Enveloping and warm. Velvety. Cream fudge. A lot of spices. Nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper. Finish: Long-lasting. Warm. Gently vanishing with almonds and nuts. Comment: Quite a muscular Speysider. The perfect dram to buck you up after a woodland walk mushroom-picking on a cold November day.
