TASTING NOTE: Aromas of burnt sugar, maple sap, vanilla, candied fruit, flowers, woodsmoke, and butterscotch. The palate is dry, smooth and round, with some fiery spice mid-palate and nice balance and complexity. Sweet notes emerge on the long, layered finish, reprising the excellence foreshadowed by the nose. Add a drop of water to smooth out the experience. (Vintages panel, Nov. 2011) Price $ 99.95
