TASTING NOTE: Though not specifically designated on the label, this independently bottled Scotch is 21 years old. The aromas are very true to the name here: sugar and spice. Look for spun sugar, cinnamon and lemon drop candy aromas. Dry, very clean and warm. The flavours are quite elegant neat. Add just a drop of water and they absolutely explode on the palate. Terrific stuff. Contemplate it after dinner. (Vintages panel, Aug. 2012) |
