PORTWOOD 21 YEARS OLD SPEYSIDE SINGLE MALT Scotland
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer THE BALVENIE
Not presented at the press/consultants preview in the LCBO lab. Last appeared in Vintages (***/***+) on December 8, 2012 at only $244.95 and was an Explorer Selection. Here is my note: Medium golden amber colour. Fairly intense, caramel tinged, very faintly smoky, orange citrus nose with some floral notes. Quite smooth, dry, harmonious, medium to medium-full bodied, slightly spicy, somewhat honeyed, plummy, caramel tinged flavours with a lingering, dryish finish. CSPC 500090
