LCBO Note Status A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection!
F. Paul Pacult rates Clynelish as one of his six "Five Star" Scottish distilleries. TASTING NOTE: Evocative maritime aromas of sea spray, iodine, cattail reeds and autumn leaves accented by a touch of butterscotch. Smoky and warm in the mouth with echoes of sea spray. A splash of water unleashes waves of butterscotch and sponge toffee character. This is a real beauty with a long, layered finish. (VINTAGES panel, Dec. 2013) Price $ 119.95
