| Very bright light yellow colour. Intense, very spicy, honeyed, bright, ripe melon-lemon nose (one bottle had some sulphury notes). Dry, medium bodied, spicy, baked melon-apple-lemon flavours with a lingering, crisp, refreshing finish. Screwcap closure. The bottling date 25/08/14 appears on the back label. It’s ready-to-drink. Not quite up to the recommended best buy 2010 (*+) released on August 20, 2011 at $11.95. |
