Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, spicy, vanilla-driven, juicy, crancherry nose. Dry, medium bodied, fairly well structured, juicy, plummy, ripe cherry flavours with a lingering, spicy, vanilla-tinged finish. This repeat (with a new lot number L-256271-3 2014/09/0 on the back label) is similar to the 2012 (*+) released on April 12, 2014 at $16.95. CSPC 37036

TASTING NOTE: This robust red wine is a blend of 80% Malbec, 10% Bonarda and 10% Syrah grapes that was matured for a year in oak. Loaded with aromas of black fruit, smoke and tar. This wine needs cellar time and decanting of 2 hours. Pencil led and black fruit on the finish. Try it with hearty meat dishes.
