Recommended by Vintage Assessments! A Best Buy |
Kim Marcus awarded this wine a rating of 91 points and designated it a Smart Buy, calling it "A well-crafted and meaty red, with hints of baked yam that give the ripe dark fruit flavors an intensely savory edge" and suggesting a drinking window of now till 2018. (winespectator.com, April 30, 2014) TASTING NOTE: Amazing aromas of blue slate, dried meat and blueberry. Full body, with fine tannins and a fruity finish. Yet reserved, complex and stylish. Lots of meat and iodine. Intense and elegant. Drink now. Score - 93 (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, June 11, 2014) |
