TASTING NOTE: Bright dark red with ruby tones. Aromas of cassis, blackberry, licorice and pepper, complicated by a balsamic note ... with a medicinal quality to the flavors of black cherry, spicy herbs and pepper. Finishes with a serious dusting of tannins and lingering dark berry and licorice flavors ... and a good value. Score - 89 (Stephen Tanzer, vinousmedia.com, March 2014) Price $ 19.95
