Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |

TAPIZ |
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Refined, intense, slightly spicy, ripe plum-cassis nose with some gentle cedary notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, harmonious, dense, very slightly smoky, warm ripe plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, cedary, fairly high acid finish. Has 15% alcohol and 7 g/L residual sugar. Excellent value - don’t miss this one! The current average price in the US is $24 CND. |

TASTING NOTE: This is a dark, rich, modern Cabernet. The nose oozes sweet aromas of coconut and vanilla along with creamy oak and blackberry. The palate is full and chunky in feel, with dark-fruit flavors accented by molasses and pepper. A chewy finish shows grip and lasting acidity.
