Extremely deep intense purple colour. Very spicy, somewhat peppery, plum-cherry nose with lots of cedar notes and a touch of mocha-chocolate. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, very spicy, tangy, hot, plum-cherry flavours with a very crisp, cedar-tinged finish. This repeat is not up to the recommended 2010 (**) released on July 5, 2014 at $17.95. Has 14.5% alcohol and 6 g/L residual sugar with lot number L15036 on the back label meaning that it was bottled after Natalie MacLean’s 90-point review (dated January 2015) which appears in the Vintages Catalogue. TASTING NOTE: Love this robust Argentine red wine made from the Malbec grape. Chewy and full-bodied with generously lush black and purple plums. Smooth with lots of layers of flavour and pleasure. Malma translates to "pride" in the native language of Mapuche. Absolutely perfect for gourmet hamburgers or meat lovers' pizza.
