Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, slightly cedary, ripe plum-cherry puree nose with cedar notes. Dry, slightly spicy, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, cedary finish. Very similar to the recommended best buy 2012 (**/**+) released on April 26, 2014 at $18.95. A secnd bottle was corked. CSPC 232637

Susana Balbo continues to produce exciting, distinct and characterful wines across all her ranges. The BenMarco series is her 'tribute' to traditional Argentine winemaking. The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon will be a fine example of this range and will offer concentrated black fruit notes in a lithe and smooth package. Enjoy this with grilled pork or grilled sausages.
