TASTING NOTE: This Malbec is deep, dark and sultry, what top-flight Argentinean wine is all about. Aromas of balsam wood, black fruits and marzipan lead to a smooth, elegant palate with flavors of baked berry fruits, cassis, licorice and toast. Those big four flavors carry onto the finish, which is smooth as a train running on well-oiled tracks. Drink through 2018. #84 on the 2013 Enthusiast 100. Score - 93 (Michael Schachner, Wine Enthusiast, Nov. 2013) |
