TASTING NOTE: Nieto Senetiner began in 1888 when it was founded by Italian immigrants who planted the very first vineyards in Vistalba, Lujan de Cuyo. The winery was purchased by the Nieto Senetiner family in 1969. The 2012 has complex and layered notes of black cherry, blackberry, coffee and spice on the nose. The palate is ripe and crisp with excellent replays and beautiful tannins. A real crowd-pleaser. (VINTAGES panel, Oct. 2014) |
