| Extremely deep intense purple colour. Very slightly spicy, complex, fairly intense, cassis-driven, ripe plum nose with some mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, slightly spicy, fairly intense, ripe plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, very faintly herbal finish. TONY ASPLER: 89 - BUY - Dense purple colour; spicy, vanilla and chocolate nose with forward fruit. full-bodied with a concentrated blackberry flavour; easy drinking. A 14.5% alcohol blend of 57% Malbec, 18% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Syrah and 2% Petit Verdot. | TASTING NOTE: (57% Malbec, 18% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Syrah; aged in second- and third-use French oak barrels): Bright red-ruby. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, cassis, black cherry and dark chocolate. Dense, creamy and sweet, conveying an impression of elegance for all its volume. A very sweet, spicy blend with harmonious tannins and noteworthy length. Year after year, this wine from Michel Rolland is a terrific value. Drinking window: 2015-2022.
