| Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, complex, slightly spicy, cedary plum nose with some mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, crisp, sandalwood-tinged, mocha-chocolate finish. Spent 13 months in oak and is unfined and unfiltered. TONY ASPLER: 88.5 - BEST BUY - Dense purple colour; spicy, vanilla oak and black plum nose; full-bodied and dry, black currant and plum flavours, richly extracted fruit carried on a lively spine of acidity. Similar to the recommended best buy 2012 (**+) released on May 16, 2015 at $19.95. Has 14% alcohol with lot number L15F10 21/10/15 on the back label. |
