TASTING NOTE: Bonarda from Argentina - still relatively new on the scene here north of the equator - frequently offers astounding value, as this friendly-priced wine certainly illustrates. A rich, inky ruby colour in the glass, it shows pretty floral notes and black currant, plum and mulberry aromas and flavours. Moderate tannins and a good texture on the palate, with good length. Pairs with burgers, pizza or pasta. (VINTAGES panel, April 2015) Price $ 13.95
