The term \"Crémant\" describes a sparkling wine from one of seven designated regions in France: Alsace, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Jura, Die (in the Rhône), Limoux and the Loire. These wines are produced using the Champagne method but are subject to less restrictive aging requirements and are also produced from the grapes used to craft the best still white wines in the specific region. These wines are delicious alternative to Champagne and offer considerable value. TASTING NOTE: More powerful than you would expect considering the aromatics, which are delicately fruity. Pretty wine, with red berries, a hint of hazelnuts, and lots of amplitude on the finish. Quite elegant. Score - 3.5 out of 5 Stars (Bill Zacharkiw, winealign.com, Nov. 13, 2014) Price $ 20.95
