TASTING NOTE: Bright, saturated medium ruby. Pure aromas of blackberry, licorice and dark chocolate are complemented by nutty oak and lifted by a violet top note. Dense, concentrated and sappy; as primary as a barrel sample. In fact, this is extremely backward and youthfully imploded ... Finishes with sneaky rising length and a serious tannic spine to support a slow evolution in bottle. Forget about this juicy, vibrant wine for at least a few years.
