TASTING NOTE: Until relatively recently, Bonarda was more widely planted than Malbec in Argentina. Bonarda was originally designated for use in blends, but some producers are now demonstrating that it can create impressive single varietal expressions. This example offers notes of dried flowers, black cherry, blackberry and spice. Soft and balanced with excellent depth, intensity and structure and a strong, ripe finish. A great wine for cured or grilled meats. (VINTAGES panel, Sept. 2015) Price $ 16.95
