Extremely pale straw colour. Slightly honeyed, spicy, mineral driven, ripe apple-melon-lemon nose. Dry, medium-light bodied, slightly spicy, faintly honeyed, lively, ripe lemon-melon-apple flavours with a very crisp, unoaked, effervescent, yellow grapefruit-tinged finish. TASTING NOTE: This traditional method sparkling Riesling with a lifted nose of apple, lemon and very lightly bready aromas. It's light bodied, taut and lemony on the palate - very bracing and clean, with lively effervescence. Some lemony bitterness in the end. Very good length. Racy to say the least. Tasted February 2016.
