TASTING NOTE: Great purity of fruit here with big blackberry, blueberry and plum along with nice shades of smoke, licorice and chocolate. The palate is smooth and round, the finish gently smoky. Pair with grilled steaks or beef fajitas. (VINTAGES panel, April 2016) |
