Bright extremely pale straw colour. Very spicy, honeyed, lychee nose. Dry, light bodied, very spicy, honeyed, intense, lychee flavours with a crisp, unoaked finish. Better than the 2013 (*+/**) released on January 10, 2015 at $15.95. TASTING NOTE: ... The nose reminds me more of a Gewurztraminer than a Moscatel, with the spicy part being quite dominant with pungent notes of herbs (even oregano). This is an especially spicy year and the nose is not overpowering, but is more subtle than in your face.
