Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, very faintly herbal, ripe plum-cherry nose with some cedar, faint mocha-chocolate notes. Fairly dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, vibrant, spicy, fairly herbal, plum-cherry flavours with a crisp, cedary, somewhat savoury mocha-chocolate finish. Much better than the 2012 (*+) released on July 25, 2015 at $15.95. TONY ASPLER / 88-points / BEST BUY - Cedary, black currant with an oak note; full-bodied, dry, fruity black currant with lively acidity and a bitter chocolate finish. This 14% alcohol blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot and 8% Petit Verdot has 6 g/L residual sugar with lot number L16020 on the back label. |
