Very pale straw colour. Attractive, very slightly spicy, honeyed, faintly smoky, warm plum-caramel nose with some faint floral notes. Dry, medium bodied albeit well structured, harmonious, very faintly peppery, slightly spicy, floral, honeysuckle flavours with some lemony-creme brulee notes on the long, lingering, gently smoky, elegant, caramel-tinged finish. Palate: Tropical fruit, citrus, creamy, dried straw, floral, spice, black pepper, clove, tree bark, smoky, applewood smoked bacon, peat, light, smooth, bold but not overbearing, balanced.
