TUN 1509 SINGLE MALT Batch notes. 3 |

THE BALVENIE |
Bright orange amber gold colour. Intense, somewhat peppery, very faintly peaty, baked lemon-apple-plum nose. Dry, medium bodied, somewhat peppery, faintly sawdusty, slightly spicy, dried plum-caramel flavours with a lingering, wheaty, austere-ish finish. At this price I wanted something to bring me to my knees - this didn’t. Intense, enjoyed the BUNNAHABHAIN CEÒBANACH ISLAY SINGLE MALT more at a fraction of the price. |
