LCBO Note Status Recommended by Vintage Assessments!
This wine won a Silver Medal at the 2016 International Wine Challenge, with the judges praising its 'soft, clean, creamy toasty nose' and 'interesting bergamot note'. TASTING NOTE: The 2011 Brut Blanc de Blancs comes from the best blocks from Robertson includes 50% of the crop fermented in barrel, the idea to give a creamy texture rather than the feeling of oak. Disgorged July 2015, the nose is generous with pear and a touch of frangipane, quite tropical in style for a Blanc de Blancs. The palate is taut on the entry with very good acidity that lends race and tension to this sparkling wine. With plenty of vibrant citrus fruit and orange zest on the finish, this is one of Graham Beck's best recent releases. Drink: 2015-2019.
