Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, bright plum-cherry puree nose with some cedary, mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, extracty, harmonious, intense, cedary, rich, spicy, ripe cherry-plum puree flavours with a lingering, crisp, faintly savoury finish. This blend of 87% Malbec and 13% Cabernet Sauvignon has 15.1% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number L16-131-301 on the back label. TASTING NOTE: A solid Super Mendoza wine with firm, polished tannins and wonderful depth. Full and compressed with a long finish. I really appreciate the cool fruit and hints of spices and black pepper. A blend of mostly malbec with some cabernet sauvignon. From La Consulta and Tupungato respectively.
