Extremely deep intense purple colour. Very slightly spicy, complex, fairly intense, cassis-driven, ripe plum nose with some mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, slightly spicy, fairly intense, ripe plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, faintly herbal, mineral-tinged finish. The recommended 2012 (**+) was released on November 28, 2015 at $23.95. TONY ASPLER / 89-points / BEST BUY - Spicy-floral nose of cedar and black plums; medium to full-bodied, dry and savoury, fruity and firm, plum flavour. This blend of 53% Malbec, 23% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 30-120416-T38 on the back label. CSPC 622571

TASTING NOTE: Bright medium ruby. Aromas of burnished oak, currant, licorice, violet and bitter chocolate. Plush flavors of dark berries and spices spread out to saturate the palate. Offers lovely breadth and sweetness of fruit for a red wine in this price range. Tannins are sweet and seamless. This is already tasty but will keep. Drinking window: 2016-2021.
