Extremely deep intense dark red colour. Complex, slightly earthy, stewed plum nose with some spicy, prune notes. Fairly dry, medium-full bodied, complex, earthy, extracty, well structured, stewed plum and prune flavours with a slightly cooked finish. Much better than the 2004 (*+/**) released on January 22, 2011 at $18.95. TONY ASPLER / 88-points - A nose of black currant, soy and leather; full-bodied, dry, mature, cooked plum flavour; firmly structured with ripe tannins; drink now.
