TASTING NOTE: The 2012 Tigerstone Malbec is sourced from a stony vineyard in Tolombón in Cafayate where you find some stripy stones they called tigerstone. There are ripe blackberries, decayed violets and plenty of spices in the nose here. The palate is full-bodied with round, fleshy tannins, juicy berry flavors and very fine acidity. Drink Date: [now until] 2019. Score - 93 (Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com, June 12, 2015) |
