TASTING NOTE: One of five Malbecs from the Finca La Escuela vineyard within the newly-delimited Paraje Altamira appellation, the 2012 Malbec Finca la Escuela El Limo is sourced from the lime part of the La Escuela Vineyard in Altamira. The nose feels fresher, with brighter red fruit and very ... slimy tannins? Drink Date: 2015-2019. Score - 93 (Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com, Aug. 27 2015) |
