Extremely deep intense purple colour. Baked ripe plum-cherry nose with some spicy, cedary, mocha-chocolate notes. Intense, medium-full bodied, dense, well structured, spicy, baked plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, fairly crisp, gently cedary, high acid finish. Has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number 20144259901 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 90-points / BEST BUY - Cedary, smoky, blackberry and backcurrant nose with a herbal note; medium to full-bodied, fruity-spicy black plum and currant flavours with an engaging floral note; lovely mouth-feel, firm finish with ripe tannins giving the wine a note of dark chocolate and cocoa powder tannins.
