TASTING NOTE: This wine won a Silver Medal at the 2016 International Wine & Spirit Competition. Blackberry, elderberry, plum and sweet spices paint a pretty picture here. The tannins are tightly woven, so stick it in the cellar for 1-2 years or decant and pair it with grilled steaks or black bean dishes. (VINTAGES panel, Feb. 2017) |
