TASTING NOTE: I liked the 2013 Malbec even better than the 2012. It is a blend of grapes from Uco and Luján de Cuyo that was partly (70%) aged in oak barrels for one year. The nose is harmonious and shows some restraint, subtlety and elegance along with a certain complexity at such early age. The sweet spices are combined with aromas of violets that make it perfumed and attractive. The palate shows good balance, fine and sweet tannins plus some flavors from the oak. Very good example of Mendoza Malbec. Score - 90 (Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com, Aug. 27, 2015) Price $ 17.95
