SERIE A MALBEC 2015 Uco Valley, Mendoza
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ZUCCARDI
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, ripe baked plum puree nose with some cedary notes. This 100% Malbec has 13% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L16-363-210 on the back label. The 2014 (**) was released on December 10, 2016 at $16.95. CSPC 167619

TASTING NOTE: Sebastián Zuccardi uses grapes from the length and breadth of the Uco Valley in this pan-regional Malbec, made without oak to allow the aromatic, plum, blackberry and violet notes full expression. A very serious wine at the price, this is a great introduction to the joys of the winery's Malbec range. Drink: 2016-2019. Score - 90 (Tim Atkin, MW, timatkin.com, 2016) Price $ 16.95
