Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, baked plum-cherry nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, solid, well structured, slightly spicy, baked plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, cedary, fairly high acid finish. This repeat has has 75% Malbec and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon with 14% alcohol and 7 g/L residual sugar with the same lot number L174081 on the back label. A 42-bottle-only repeat of the 498-case release of 2008 (not rated as the sample was corked) released on November 10, 2012 at the elevated price of $39.95. CSPC 295063

Jay Miller of robertparker.com awarded this wine a rating of 92+ and suggested a drinking range extending from 2013 through 2023. (Dec. 22, 2010) TASTING NOTE: A fantastic red with blackberry, blueberry, tar and walnuts. Full body, with very fine tannins and a long, long finish. It's a wonderfully polished yet rich wine.
