Aurelio Montes is an icon of Chilean winemaking - wait what, this is an Argentine wine? Yes. Montes became enamored of the super terroir-driven wines of Argentina and created Kaiken to bring about a powerful marriage of Argentine sites and Chilean winemaking expertise, reflecting the best of both sides of the Andes. 'Las Rocas' are the rounded stones found in the vineyard. You can expect this wine to deliver impressive and intense dark fruit, smoke and forest tones with underlying cocoa. Enjoy it tonight, decanted for 30 minutes, with your favourite steak, or cellar and follow its development for 8-10+ years. Price $ 19.95
