Native to Portugal, Touriga Nacional was first planted, as an experiment, in Mendoza in 2000. It has proven to be an exciting and intriguing blending partner for Malbec. TASTING NOTE: 80% Malbec, 20% Touriga Nacional. Remarkable balance and precision here. Fresh, clean cherry fruit sings on the nose. Waves of intense red fruits and flowers abound on the palate, complemented by spices and oak very well integrated. A sumptuous Malbec/Touriga Nacional blend with great structure, finely grained tannins and lively freshness. Score - 96 (Decanter World Wine Awards, 2016) Price $ 18.95
