A Best Buy
This is sourced from three premium high altitude vineyards: One in Maipú (800m) and two in Luján de Cuyo (930 and 1050m). TASTING NOTE: Aromas of blackberry and briar patch expand to include violet notes. In the mouth, there's pulpy weight to the fruit and rubbery tannins for framing. Rugged but generic black-fruit flavors finish with toasty darkness and some burn. Score - 88 (Michael Schachner, Wine Enthusiast, Oct. 1, 2016) Price $ 18.95
