Very deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, bright, ripe plum nose with some cedary notes. Fairly dry, medium to medium-full bodied, fairly dense, very ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, high acid, gently cedary finish. Has 14% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number 090/17-31/03/17 on the back label. Consultant winemaker Jean-Claude Berrout was the winemaker at Petrus for 44 years. His influence has been key in the evolution of more elegant and refined expressions of Malbec. TASTING NOTE: A solid wine with blackberry and black pepper character. Full body, chewy tannins and a fresh and cool finish. So polished and beautiful. From grapes grown in Valle de Uco.
