TASTING NOTE: Medium red. Sexy, mellow scents of red currant, plum, mocha and spices. Sweet and suave on the palate, with red fruit flavors leavened by savory soil tones and well-integrated acidity. Nicely balanced, seamless wine with lovely vinosity. Finishes with a fine dusting of tannins and subtle persistence. Drinking window: 2017-2022. Score - 90 (Stephen Tanzer, vinous.com, March 2016) |
