| Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, ripe plum-cherry nose with some cedary, mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, harmonious, slightly spicy, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a bright, somewhat cedary, faintly mecaptan-tinged finish. This Uco Vallet 100% Malbec has 14% alcohol (not 15%) and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 140114 on the back label. Tasted once. TONY ASPLER / 88-points - Cedary, spicy, plum and red berry nose; medium-bodied, dry, lean and sinewy, firm with a tannic finish. You can safely ignore the Decanter unattributed tasting note appearing in the Vintages Catalogue which awards this wine 95-points. In fact, it was blind tasted by Decanter’s wine panel who gave it 88-points.
