TASTING NOTE: This single-vineyard wine blends 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot from Ontario's warm 2016 vintage. It's approachable, bright and fresh with blackberry, plum, dark cherry and juicy cassis backed by a sprinkling of sweet spices lingering in a long, chewy finish. Good value. The producer suggests pairing it with grilled or roasted meats such as duck, lamb, beef and wild game. (Vintages panel, Aug. 2017) Price $ 19.95
