Extremely deep intense purple colour. Very faintly sweetish, dilly, spicy, baked plum nose with some peppery notes. Fairly dry, medium bodied, very spicy, somewhat peppery, herbal, baked plum flavours with a lingering, somewhat tart, fairly bitter, cedary finish. Has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L640917 on the back label. Tasted twice. This 2014 does not live up to the tasting note appearing in the Vintages Catalogue. The 2013 (*/*+) was released on June 11, 2016 at $18.95. CSPC 17061
