TASTING NOTE: The expressive and aromatic 2016 Reserve Torrontés combines volume with freshness. It was sourced from parral vineyards planted in Cafayate (Salta) in 2009. It fermented with selected yeasts, with a small percentage (15-20%) fermented in American oak barrels to give a touch of extra complexity and volume. It was kept in contact with the fine lees for four months before bottling. Fresh and citric, with subtle perfume, with the character of Torrontés but without overwhelming your senses. The oak is unnoticeable. 66,000 bottles produced. Drink date: 2016- 2018. Score - 90 (Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com, Dec. 30, 2016) Price $ 14.95
