006 RIVERSIDE ESTATE PINOT NOIR 2016 Río Negro Valley, Patagonia
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ANIELLO
Bright medium deep red colour. Slightly spicy, ripe plum-cherry nose with some dusty sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, tangy, slightly spicy, high acid, cherry-plum flavours with a crisp, mineral-tinged, faintly tinny, slightly tart finish. Unfortunately, there seemed to be some issues with this Pinot Noir which was assessed from two bottles. The first had a faint hint of volatile acidity, while the second bottle had some faintly rubbery mercaptan notes. Has 12.7% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number IA070947 on the back label. CSPC 542092
