Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, complex, spicy, mocha-chocolate-driven, baked plum-cherry nose. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, grippy, well structured, fairly dense, ripe plum flavours with a lingering, high acid, cedary, mocha-chocolate-tinged finish. This Wine of the Month has 13.5% alcohol with lot number L.173352 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 89-points / BUY - Intense, cedar and blackberry nose with a light floral note; medium-bodied, dry, fruity but form with a lively spine of acidity. |
